Therefore, please ensure you do not damage the items or the packaging and if you wish to return anything, that it reaches us in perfect resalable condition. Microscopic photochromic particles are embedded in the lens. In bright sunlight, the lens particles react to UV rays, darkening the optics and ensuring additional glare protection. Tifosi’s polarized lenses may also take advantage of variable tint technology.

These Tifosi sunglasses are exceptional. They are the perfect weight for our cycling road trips. Tifosi always delivers on style, fit and functionality and they are by far my favorite brand. A good pair of sunglasses like this make all the difference when I am cycling. I don’t like to keep adjusting my glasses and this pair really delivers. I honestly sometimes forget that I have them on. They are that good.
I have worn these sunglasses while running and cycling. They don’t bounce around during movement. There is enough airflow to not get fogged up but enough protection that my eyes don’t get irritated and dry while cycling. The lenses are clear in both very bright lighting and dimmer lighting. These are very well made and feel like a quality pair of sunglasses, highly reccomended!
I have a lot of Tifosi sunglasses, but this is my first set with their phototec lenses and WOW do I love them! I ride a lot in the early mornings and sometimes in the late evenings when there is a good amount of light transition. Considering shaded areas behind hills or tree cover as well as increasing/decreasing sunlight, the quick change these lenses provide is CLUTCH. I always just wore my lightest shades and compromised, but with these, I no longer need to either bring two pairs of glasses or just deal with too much or too little light.The whole unit is super light, I hardly notice them on my face. They fit well and wrap around well to protect you from wind and debris. They look pretty high-speed too, look fast go fast lol
This is my second pair of Tifosi sunglasses; I also have a pair of the Tifosi Crit with interchangeable lenses ( https://amzn.to/3Zx1fLH ), which I highly recommend. The Moabs (did I mention that Moab is one of my favorite places?At least it was back in the '80s before it was overrun) don't have interchangeable lenses, but have a photochromic lens. The lens on the Moab is best for cloudy or partially sunny days, because it doesn't get dark enough for bright, sunny days -- that's when I use the Crits.I did find that the nosepiece is rather hard, and became uncomfortable after a few hours. I like the softer plastic of the Moab nosepieces, especially when bumpy surfaces cause my helmet to ride low and sit on the frames. Otherwise, no problems: the optics are nice and clear and the coverage is good.
I use these primarily for running. I have another nice, expensive, pair of running sunglasses that felt a little tight and started to hurt above my ears on any run longer than 60 minutes.These Tifosi sunglasses fit me much better and I have no issues with pain during long runs. Took them out for a 15 mile long run, no pain, no bouncing. I like that lenses have vents reducing fogging on hot and humid days, at least while you’re moving.I don’t love the way they look on me, but that’s subjective, and honestly I don’t love the way any sports sunglasses look to begin with.In summary, no pain, less fogging, no bouncing, that is about all I’m looking for in my sunglasses, and these deliver! Oh, and I love that these lenses are Fototec, allowing me to wear them on cloudy days as well as sunny days.
